Welcome to-the 2011-2012 Bowling Season!

New Association Manager:

I would like to welcome Ceci Bylls as Suburban Windy City USBC's new association
manager. Ceci comes with the following qualifications (which include but not limited
to):
      ·        Secretary/Treasurer of the Elgin Junior Bowling Association for over 20 years.
      ·        Served on the Illinois State YABA Illinois USBC Youth Association board of
               directors for over 20 years.
      ·        Was a member of the unification committee representing Elgin YABA during the
               USBC merger process in 2004-2005.

Ceci comes with a wealth of knowledge and looks forward to helping you this season.

I would also like to thank Dona Reinink for her many years of service as Association
Manager for Suburban Windy City USBC. Dona was a great asset to our association and
will be dearly missed.

Dues Increase:

This year marks the first dues increase for SWC USBC in over 6 years. Our board of
directors has done its best to keeps its costs down while providing a valuable service to
its bowlers. Unfortunately the association has been running the red the past 3 years and
has depleted most of its reserve funds. The dues for the 2011-2012 season are being
raised from $17 to $20. This is a needed increase to make sure that we can continue to
provide all the services that you have been accustomed to.

Mailing Address

The fundraisers support scholarship money that is given to six of our youth members.

Final Note:

With all the things that our association tries to accomplish please remember that we have
only fifteen members on our association board of directors. These few dedicated
individuals are servicing over 11,000 members. With this being said we are always
looking for volunteers at our events. Please strongly consider helping make our events
successful ones by being part of it, whether it is by participating or volunteering, or even
better, both. Whatever time you can volunteer will be appreciated. Please contact one of
the board members if you are interested. If you need additional information or dates
please refer to our website at www.swcbowl.com. Whether you are interested in a
competitive environment, or a social and relaxing environment, SWC USBC is the easy
choice for you to make.

Have a great year!

Brian Bylls
